I found out today that you can get a mono-chroimatic option so the grill, door handles and third stop light plastic are the same color as the car...enjoy

Thanks for the pics. But I have a copy of the ordering guide and it shows no such thing as monochrome paint job. I hope you are right, but nothing indicates that to be the case.

I agree. The CHMSL and the door handles should be body color but the grill should be black. As far as the reliabilty of the monchromatic option story, well, most of these car show reps are every bit as informed as the salesmen at your local Chevy dealer.

Thanks. I really like the look of the silver vert. I have a 67 Silver Pearl/Black vert, and I'm working on the wife, telling her just how nice it would be to have an 05 Silver/Black vert in the family...no luck so far, but there are few ****** in her armor showing..

Thanks for posting the pics. You know, the more I look at the C6 the more I think the C5 is a nicer looking car. Maybe in real life it looks different. I'm having an especially hard time with the "smiling" front bumper. I don't think they should have gone away from the split front grill.

I agree.....that silver is sharp. I think it's the best looking with the headlights. Flog me if you will, but I haven't yet grown used to the body colored bezels. I'd still prefer a neutral color as it is on most cars.....purely subjective, I realize. But I do like, like, like the silver.
EDIT: I'm going to photshop the red car with silver headlights.

most colors make the c6 look bad, but I almost like it in silver... if theyd get rid of those ugly outside mirrors.. I think I might actually learn to like it.

I have seen the Blue and it looks best IMO, BUT I can't get over the carp mouth. The rear is a little easier to swallow. Rest of car is OK.

I echo the sentiments of the smiley front. The headlights also seem to look like 'glasses'. I would need to see the car in person to make up my mind on it. Right now, i'm not too fond of the overall appearance. It's ok, just not bowling me over.

I was there as well....the vert interior was Steel Gray and the interior on the coupe was Cashmere.
