Re: What color are you getting? (curvesman)
I know what you mean. I too changed from sunset orange, to black, to lemans blue, and now back to sunset organge.
I know I said it before but Picking the color has got to be the hardest option to choose from.
All the colors look good but here the problems I have with the different colors:
Lemans Blue - A beautiful color but I think its a little too dark. Too dark to show-off the car's lines. And it looks almost like black. but doesn't have the think "richness" that black offers.
Black - I love how the light shines off this color. However, for some reason, black sports cars always make me feel like I'm David Hasselhof driving night-rider. Not to mention they're so hard to keep clean. BTW, isn't Hasselhof coming out with a new rap album?
Sunset Orange - A good color but I feel this color gets cheapened every time I see some cheap azz pontiac, mitsubishi, or pick-up with this same color. They're ruining the reputation of this color!
White - Looks good, but lack "funk" and "soul". As another member noted, also makes the car look like a rental car.
Precision Red - Nobody's mentioned it yet but this color looks pretty darn close to Burgandy. Suffers the same problems as the Lemans Blue.
Magnetic Red - Good color but no originality. Another red sports car?
Silver - Yet another good color, but I wish the silver were a little darker. The Spiral Grey looked good. To bad they don't offer it with the the C6.
Melleium Yellow - Nice color for Ferraris. Sure it make the car look like a cab. More importantly, it takes away any luxery from the vette. Makes it look more like a toy.
I guess I wish they offered a lighter blue or a spiral grey. Oh well, I guess I'll just keep switching colors in the meantime and see what color I'm stuck with when my order goes into production.

just found out that a base coupe comes ONLY with a EBONY interior. Red was rejected unless i get a bunch of options i don't want,
it will still be a great car, so ebony it is.

Re: What color are you getting? (Oregonvette)
My local dealer just took my order yesterday. White convertible with a black top and the red interior. I ordered base wheels because I'm up going with HRE's when it arrives. I also ordered Z51 suspension, and the new power top. I was not interested in the navigation system. Since the car is, in effect, my "wife's" car, I ordered the automatic transmission. Now the wait begins !

It's obvious I'm in the minority here, but I like a white convertible, black top, with red interior. I've liked that combo on every generation Corvette, starting in 1953!

I just noticed that it has been two and a half months since I originally responded to this thread. I have ordered a Black/Black with Cashmere convertible.

Black all the way!!!!!!! It just looks so freakin awesome in black! Plus, for those of you who worry about the gaps in the C6, they're so much less visible in black... The corvette, as always, looks great when its back in black.

I'm seriously considering the new "Victory Red"... I love that color!
Before that color arrived as an option on the C6 I was going with BLACK on mine... I just didn't care for the other reds before "Victory" became available
BLACK or RED? RED or BLACK? deciding is such sweet torture

I'm torn between
Yellow
Daytona Sunset Orange
Black
My TA is Red and I don't need another Red car.....or do I?
I'll be placing my order (I hope) this spring so I should be able to see them on the road first and then make a final decision.
