That pic isn't an accurate representation partly because the C6 Z06 will have the fastback rear glass, just like the Coupe.

Shouldn't be, since it's been said for a while that the C6 hardtop will have the Coupe's roofline. The C5 hardtop was a styling SNAFU and the only way they were able to save it was to give it a better engine. This time they won't make the same mistake. This time the higher-performance 'Vette will actually be able to go faster than the base level one.

Maybe i'm just in the minority, but I actually chose to buy a FRC b/c I prefered the hardtop styling over the coupe. I find the rear styling to be more aggressive and chose it over the coupe....so i guess i wouldn't consider it a "SNAFU".

Sorry, but it's logical the Z06 is not the same as a Coupe. Glass weighs quite a bit, and a FRC body is more rigid and more balanced.
Newsflash #2, the FRC is no more rigid/balanced than the convertible is.

PeteyPete: I agree with you wholeheartedly. I've always preferred the FRC look to the coupe look. But, looks are entirely subjective.
scorp508: If you can't feel the difference between an FRC and a convertable, you need to either sample a few more or have your a** recalibrated.

I think it will look like a Coupe but have a fixed roof.
The Coupe has less drag and I'd think that would be of help for the Z06
