I absolutely loved the SF pictures but I only like the most recent picture (from above). What I've come to realize is that I need to :chill: for two weeks. My concern is how the headlights will look from the front view at eye level and not from the skycam.

I agree with this! Some photos don't due justice to actually seeing the car. I loved the SF pictures. Now I'm a bit disappointed. Hopefully the full frontal view will change my mind.

I like everything but the front end. It may grow on me. The hind end of the C5 never did grow on me.

Boring. Derivative. Generic. Cheap. There's a lot going on, but none of it says anything.

I hope we don't have to live with this one for eight years. And I hope the Z06 gets very different bodywork.

I'm sure I'll grow to accept it, but man it's disappointing. There's nothing to be excited about.

I believe this will be one of those cars that I will want to buy in black to hide a few features I don't care for. I don't mind the exposed headlights, but it isn't the best looking configuration in my opinion and I definitely don't care for the body colored housing. That's not a new opinion as I've never liked it on other cars. I think the straight lines of the side cove don't work that well with the other curves. I'm not sure if the "teeth" in the mouth were meant to be heritage cues, but I would have preferred a less visual/more subtle mesh type of a look.
Let me put it this way.....if I was going to spend $50,000 tomorrow for a Corvette, I'd keep my 03 coupe and go find a nice mid-year rather than buy a C6.
