We need some spy pics of the interior
I've read more than a few times that the interior will not be shown at the unveiling of the C6 in Detroit. I find that odd. Don't you?
Do you think that it will be such a significant upgrade that they don't want to spook any buyers from buying up the remaining 2004 C5s? I can't think of any reason why they would want to not show the interior...especially at the cars introduction.

I betcha it will look like the interior of a Camaro SS, which had stereo controls on the steering wheel, hydrolic vert top, etc.

We have all seen things like the 4th gen Camaro and the C4 which had interior redesigns during their runs. With this in mind, we know that the interior can be changed fairly easily, and as such, may not be completely nailed down yet. Perhaps they are still finalizing that part of the car.

I sold my C5 because the interior was blah. I just expect more if I'm going to put a lot into a car. Some things an owner just can't fix. Hopefully the C6 will be a great base with the necessary options and materials to make it a keeper.

I bet interior will be similar to XLR meaning layout of gages and Nav screen. I would suspect no wood, but carbon fiber or aluminum finish.

GM is not going to blackout the windows at the January auto show just to keep people from seeing the improvements. What's the point? I believe they will proudly display ALL of the car, inside and out and provide technical specifications to all who are interested. IMO

It'll probably be up on a turntable next to a great pair of legs and have a door open, but you might not have folks crawling all over it.
