Thanks for sharing Mervz.......I can get even more lazy now. I wonder if the c-6 vert top will be a little harder to manipulate since they are offering this option?

OK, I'll bite, is it possible to get the rest of the bits of the Z-51 performance package (available PS, oil and tranny coolers are very cool) without crossdrilled rotors?

Oh yeah, one more thing, thanks.

Might one assume that you have lain eyes upon the Holy Grail that is the C6 RPO form?

One question would concern a Nav system.

Another might wonder if the numbers LS2, LS7 or ZL-1 are mentioned...

Thanks Mervz, we appreciate the tightrope walk.

I suspect it's going to be an all-or-nothing package.

Thanks, Mervz!

Performance Handling Package, performance-oriented package for the Gymkhana/Autocross enthusiast, ... engine oil and transmission coolers, stiffer springs and stabilizer bars, specific shock absorbers, larger brakes with cross-drilled rotors, specific tires and performance gearing, Z51-specific, 6-speed manual transmission or performance axle ratio with automatic transmission
In autocross there's no need for the coolers...don't run long enough to need them...I'd rather save the weight.

Stiffer springs would be good but, stiffer stabilizer bars would cause the inside wheels to lift in the sharp turns leading to decreased traction on the tight turns.

Shocks, give us the F55 with a super stiff autocross setting.

Larger brakes would be good but we'd upgrade the pads anyway. No need for cross drilled in autocross, heat is not an issue. Would have liked ceramic instead.

Tires are irrelevant because I'd swap the tires for either Hoosiers or Kuhmos anyway. Give us the widest rims possible.

Gearing...give us a 4.10 rear option in the Coupe!!! I don't care what the price is (charge us $5000.00 for all I care) since I can always upgrade later and stay in a stock catagory since it was offered as an option!!!

For those of us who do track days, the list is almost pefect. Coolers are essential, especially on a hot day, stiffer springs and bars necessary for stablilty in high speed turns, shocks same thing plus better turn in, larger brakes are necessary to dissipate more heat, and a shorter gear ratio to help get out of the turns. I dropped about 5 large on the 99 putting all this stuff in to make it track worthy, and that is without larger brakes or a tranny cooler, it would have been closer to 10 had I done that. Any idea on the price of this package?
