I will be buying the Z06-ZL1 as soon as I see what the C6 looks like and what colors it is coming in.
If I don't like it then I will not buy it. At that point I'll just drop a 427 TTi in to the '01 Z06 I have.

I'll take a C6 Z06 for $50K........tops.
And for 50k, it had better have over 400 to the wheels.
If not, I can just pick up a used C5 Z06, add all the bolt-ons, and blow the new C6 off the road...
for at least $20k less.
I hope the new Z06 has a 427ci motor and offers at least 450/450 to the wheels.
For that, I would pay $50k.

:D I just traded an 01 Z06 in for an 04! I'm probably gonna wait ... (who am I kidding?), for the 2nd year of the C-6 Z06 before purchase!
:chevy We might expect GM to have the same "teething problems", ( as they did with the 01 Z), with the 1st year's C-6 Z06 because of the NEW engine!

I enjoy my 2002. I only paid 39K after incentives. I would have felt ripped off if I had paid anywhere near sticker for it. The quality is just not there. If GM has improved the quality with the C6, then I would might pay $47 for a coupe. I guess I just expect more for $50. If these pics of the c6 are the real deal, from what I can see, its freakin sweet. I just hope the quality is better.

Since I enjoy the GM discount, I will not buy a C6 until dealers do GMS. The other problem is mods. It will be a few years before we see mods for the C6. As with the C5, I am certain I will have issues with the C6 stock calibration. GM likes to cut corners and is too conservative IMO.
