that you've seen what the body will look like. We already know what the wheels look like and the general idea of what the headlights are like. So after taking all this in, what do you think of the new C6. Is it living up to the corvette heritage, does it look too much like other cars or is it something fresh and new? In case you haven't seen the pics I'm talking about, here they are. Obviously, there are still a few surprises that we'll see in January but from what we see from these exposed body panels, what do you think? Don't be shy to discuss.

Sure looks a lot different than the spy picks and mules we've seen. I think it looks good though even if it looks like a Viper and Mazda RX-8 in the front.

Certainly looks like an evolution and not a radical departure from the current C5...

I'd have to see it all dressed to make a judgment. Anyone know when the C6 will officially be out for our viewing pleasure?

I personally like it although the front seems to have no corvette styling cues, rather, it seems like it going to have a more viper look to it and may not be recognizable as a corvette in someone's rear view mirror. Then again, who ever sees a corvette from their rear view mirror? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Well, it is great.
At least without the tail lights installed, I am not saying wow about the rear, but I love it anyway.
The front end looks generic. I like the corner lights.
Sloop of the hood may increase road visability, I wonder if the high rise of the fenders will not.
When can I test drive?

Like it a lot. Continues the Corvette look. Much better to continue on tradition than making something completely different and unrecognizable as being a Corvette. :chevy

I like it, although I think the front is too generic, as mentioned by others. I was looking for more "edginess" in the headlight design and intake, to go along with the other hard lines on the body. Overall, a good look that will be recognizable as "new" on the street (maybe not from the side). Someone is going to be in a load of trouble for taking these pics :crazy: :smash:

I am going to have to see the real thing, all complete. I remember loving the C2's right from day one. Did not like the C3's for a long time. Thought the C4 was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Wasn't all that fond of the C5 at first, but it grew on me.
There isn't a Corvette I don't like, but for now I like the looks of the C5 a whole lot more than that two tone white thing with braces. :lol:

Look at it this way - every Corvette design has been pretty damned cool. I'll take what the General gives us.
