Here is some info I learned...

New color for C-6 called PLUM its a light purple.

HUD will be in COLOR green, yellow, red..

Steering wheel will have RADIO controls built into it.

Lights are exactly what on the C5R

Dash Board center console is angled toward the driver, new radio system, but NO Video in center of console.

Seats have changed Completely with radio speaker in the head rests...

The panic handle on the passenger dash has more of a curve toward passanger.

The back of the coupe behind the console has no bump, the rear floor is almost even with the armrest/console.

Console is much much narrower.

Fenders Front and rear are exactly like the orange corvette photo that has been posted on this site.

The FRONT GRILL is one piece it is NOT SPLIT.

An adapter number plate holder will be provided for center of the grill when required.

shorter 3 inches front and back.

Interior is MUCH MUCH nicer, but still similiar to the C5.

The three production cars that was seen, none had the nav system in it. What I described was exactly was seen...btw HP for normal Vette is 405 HP. and the exhaust systems are different they seem to come out further.

One other thing, all three were automatics, appears they are having problems with the MN6, so none have been made yet, as far as I know.

The seats are really really nice this time, a lot of support. I think people will like it. It was much nicer then I thought it would turn out. VERY SHARK Looking, could not see the back, as it was covered, not nameplates on the front.

I have a hard time picturing the C5R headlights on the C6. Whats with this 405 hp. Thats weak in my mind. I liked the 455 idea. But who knows. :)

My theory is that "455" is an old nmber that was originally intended for the Z06. I hope we get 425 HP or more in the "base" model, but if I had to bet, I'd bet on 405 HP for the coupe in the first year and by the end of C6 cycle, it'll be 425. I know GM all too well.

Did you see that the C6 headlights were the same as the C5R, or is this a report from a source?

Look I posted two years ago with exactly what you are now showing as the C6, I also posted about the Magnesium Aluminum Frame and everyone flamed me for that saying it was impossible. I am telling you guys what it looks like including the HP and you shoot the messanger. Ok beleive what you want, but I will stand by my posts and what I know it will be. So beleive what you want, but just remember the General will not give you your fantasy car, they give you what is profitable to them. Remember what I post...and you can take it to the bank. :cheers:

Here are some specific questions. Any ideas?

1) Are there two engine options in MY05 (405hp and 455hp)?
2) What's going on with the automatic transmission 4- or 6-speed?
3) Are the PERIMETER rails of the frame aluminum?
4) Is the exhaust system titanium? Connecting rods? Valves?
5) What are the wheel sizes?
6) Besides the engine, what's the difference between the Z06 and
___the base car? Ceramic rotors? Titanium half-shafts?
7) Are the brakes by Brembo and how big are they?

.Thanks much for the information on the C6 and keep it coming!! My order is in for blue. :thumbs: I certainly have no reason not to believe you. You just have to remember not to pay attention to the unfriendly and flame posters here, some of which are teenagers.
