The spy shots of test cars show the filler opening relocated to a position higher on the left rear quarter and further back than on the C5. Since that's not the sort of thing one would disguise, it's likely to be the real location, and that small portion of the body may well be correct. Obviously, the last 24 inches or so are heavily-disguised.

I like the C3,C4 spot in the center rear.

The circle on top of the fender and cut into the hatch is not the fuel door. The fuel door will be in exactly the same location as it is on the C5 and XLR.

You'd have to open your door into the fuel pump no matter where the gas cap is. Just don't pull in so close to the pump next time.

And, in my 79 and 95 I pull up on the Left side for the same reason.
