Re: Detroit Action 7 News at 11:00 (Arnie)
It looks like they are doing a profile on an individual that takes spy shots of new cars for a living. They then say something to the effect of "the corvette shot you aren't supposed to see..."
Then is shows a silhouette of what looks like a vette but you can quite make it out???
Only 5 more mins!!

Re: Detroit Action 7 News at 11:00 (Yellow Fellow)
Well if anyone was watching, this guy Jim Dunne JUST TOOK THE FIRST SHOTS OF THE C6 A FEW DAYS AGO!!!!!!!!! The news showed both a coupe and vert at a red light on a off ramp in Detroit!
They were both white and one had the number 2 on the front window. The convert had a black top and the coupe looked pretty strange in the rear roof line, almost like it was missing the usual halo?? Both had the front and rear panels hidden as usual, but you can see for 100% sure it will be like the photo that was taken down from this site some time ago!!!
The front was the same as the photo as well. You could see the large opening like the photo had in the lower front. The side vents that meet the front quarter panels were larger than the C5, just like the photo!! The door handles run vertical along the door, and the latch must be hidden underneath like the XLR. Wow... what a shot!
I hope I wasn’t the only one that saw it???
 :yesnod:

Dang-it !!! My sisters live in the Detroit area. I would have called and told them to tape it if I had of seen this in time.
I did a search on a hunch "Jim Dunne Corvette Spy shots" and a link popped up...Got all excited for a second. It turns out he was the first to capture "C4" spy shots !! His email has "007" in it..
Here is the link. Kind of interesting as he discusses his C4 catch ..

Re: Detroit Action 7 News at 11:00 (TRANS DAMM)
Dunne's work usually shows up in Automotive News and Autoweek (same publisher). Given lead times it could be a couple of weeks.
I'm not surprised he got the first shot of a C6. He's a legend in the business.
