This is GREAT! I've also seen Dunne's work in Motor Trend. So expect his shots to appear in that mag and/or Autoweek.

Sounds like Dunne comes through again. I would guess that Autoweek will probably have these pics out first. I will be looking forward to my next issue.

The picture that I saw posted here a few weks ago had 2 C6's (I can now say that!!) one was yellow, the other red, and at the bottom was the new C6 cross flags?

Since I didn't see the story, allow me to be the skeptic. Why would Chevy have cars on a public highway in Detroit nine months before the public unveiling? I can see hot or cold weather testing somewhere, but why cruising around public streets in Detroit?

they caught the cars going too or from the Milford proving grounds.
don't know if they where the real think or not, didn't seem that different
from a C5.

the front and rear where covered but the sides where open, they seemed to be consistent with Jujubee's yellow photoshop.

If you live anywhere near the Detroit area, you know shots like this are not uncommon around Dearborn streets. When Jim Dunne was out for the interview, during the drive they spotted a GT40 going through the gears on a public road, and new stang hidden in a parking lot.

- a 90's T-Bird with a fast back (never produced)
- the new Ford F-250 well before release
- the current T-Bird before release
- a Ford GT40 Mark II sitting out front of Kar Kraft in 1966
- a new Class 8 truck at a location I can't discuss (sorta trespassing)
- a new Cadillac CTS well before release
- a lot of cars with manufacturer's plates and different wheels or exhaust or hood or lights or other odd stuff
It is all there, you just gotta know what you are looking at (and when to leave if you are on private property)! :smash: :smash:
