Last week the dreaded Automatic shifter cable bushing gave up the ghost on the shifter side. In my haste of taking the console apart to get to the shifter cable, I have lost the retainer clip that holds the **** in place.

I dont assume these clips are sold separately? If so, great! could you give me info as to where to get one? If not, Could something like this be purchased at an industrial supply store like McMaster-Carr under another name?

That really looks like a 3/8" staple. Or 1/2" like the kind for use with an Arrow stapler on wall wiring. I probably have 2000 here lol

Had a 2005 auto shifter off and checked, a 1/2 staple fits perfectly.
