Maybe not “hard” as in track driving but for the people who like to drive them as intended on a frequent basis. How often do you choose to change your oil? I’m kind of a freak on how often i choose to change my oil and it’s kind of a waste but i choose to about every 2000-3000 miles or until I get bored and decide I want to do a oil change.

If you don’t mind the time and money, hey go for it!
The cleaner the engine the better. Nothing wrong with your scheduling for oil and filter change. To each his own.😊

I'd imagine most answers are going to be:
1) per the owner's manual
2) when the DIC oil life meter says it's time
3) Once a year like the owner's manual says
4) every 7500 miles or so. I think most people run full synthetic oil, so no need to change oil every 3000 miles. This is NOT the "good old days" where you change the oil at 3000 miles.
If you change if more often, you're probably wasting money.

I'm an every 3000 guy, I don't believe its necessary anymore with the advancements in oil technology but... my dad, and his dad pounded it into my head at a young age you do preventative maintenance every 3000 regardless. My Vette actually gets changed even more frequently if I run it hard. I did 1800 miles at the end of last season 800 of which were pretty hard aggressive mountain driving... I came home and changed it. Yeah its overkill but it gives me peace of mind

Once a year, but it is not daily driven.
Now my Titan on the other hand gets about 500 miles a week and I go 7k on intervals with synthetic.... I have 189k on the clock and she still runs like new.

Depends on how dirty it gets too. We don't have a gravel driveway anymore or construction etc.

I just had my oil analyzed after about 1500 miles, plus two track days over the course of 15 months. Blackstone told me the oil could go to 3000 miles no problem. I use Mobil 1 5w30.

I think that mileage, driving conditions (freeway or many short trips), temperatures, etc. are the main thing. I doubt that oil degrades every 12 months, unless you're getting a lot of condensation, blow by, etc..
Interesting thought. 1 good selling point for my recently purchased '09 with 53k miles, was that the previous owner changed the oil every year, sometimes with less than 1k miles since the last change. Receipts show dealer changed oil and filter. My questions are, did they actually do this if the oil looked clean, what kind of oil did they use, etc.???
Many dealers use cheap bulk oil, irreguardless of oem recommendations.
My wife's '22 suv came with free oil changes. I survayed 3 local dealers, and 1 dealer uses Bardahl oil, 1 uses Champion, and 1 claims to use Mobil 1. Guess which dealer I chose.
