Center Cap Powdercoating + Sticker Removal
I'm getting my Chrome Spyder wheels powdercoated and I'm wondering what you guys do about center caps.
The logo looks to be made from a plastic/rubber type material and I worry trying to pull those off will ruin them.
Do you recommend masking them off or is there a way to safely remove them prior to paint?
TIA. I couldn't find anything via search.

All center caps are removable so that tire shops can spin balance the mounted tires. The typical method is tapping on the center cap from behind with the rubber handle of a hammer. I would NOT pry them off from the front for fear of damage to the center cap or wheel.

I would use heat to soften the glue and gently pry it off.

Yea a little heat and they will come off. I assume the caps are plastic and you are having them painted. You can get the decals online from a number of sources.
