Awesome! Enjoy! Having a corvette is something special and never explained only experienced. A simple drive can wipe out a bad day for me and I know others feel the same way. Welcome!

nope. It's an 07 I purchased New year's eve 2021. A guy in his 70s traded it in for a C7. Car puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. Currently stored and waiting out an Iowa winter. 4 months until she's back out. The wife hates the winter because it's referred to as modification season by me.

2016 C6 of Year Finalist
Good for you! Now drive it around the neighborhood to get the tires warmed up and head for a big parking lot where you can play with turns to feel where the tire 'chatter' occurs.
And then...drive the snot out of it!

Forget the C6, and lets talk Model T instead.
Hence last rebuild on the motor, did you do the babbitt'g yourself or farm that out,
block sleeved or was there enough still the block to just bore to clean up the cylinders for over size pistons,
and did you update the valve guides, or still running the older guide style instead.
Yea, going Zoom, Zoom is fun with the C6, but when it comes to taking Momma out for a Sunday leisure drive at a blistering top end of speed of 42mph, model T all the way. Hell, between the two, more clout showing up at the Sunday together with the lads with wives in the model T, although may take you twice as long to get there and back, since will have to take every back road due to it limited top end speed in the first place. But at least you can over take/outrun a Amish horse drawn buggies if on gets in the way.
