Not to worry, Allen. You are spending — to most of us mortals — not an insignificant sum of money on what is a question mark. In late August, I had mine shipped from halfway across the country. It was a leap of faith and I am still checking, listening, and looking for things that may be wrong. I totally get your trepidation and sharing your experience brought out the wealth of knowledge that is present on this forum. Best wishes and I hope that you enjoy your new to you Corvette as much as I am enjoying mine. Like VetteVinnie said, remember it is not new so it may not be perfect. May your new purchase bring you as much joy as mine is bringing me. Happy motoring.

Yep, you got caught off guard by one of the... Unique features of the Corvette, it's worse on wide bodies and worse on some tires and worse in cold.

To be honest, the c6 wears gloss black a little better. If it was t mfor the centennial stripes, I think CFBM wouldn't look as nice.

Could be the best thread yet. You thought of it maybe you should start it. I bet there is more than one of us that can’t find a 10mm socket.

OP, I'm happy that it all worked out for you! There is not a single person among us who haven't made a stupid decision at one point in our lives. Or more often. Some of us, daily. LOL
You did good by walking away when you had doubts, so don't sweat it. Congrats on the new car.

My thread is being hijacked by school children.
