Winter Build Thread Part 2 (stayinstock)
Welp... that time of year again, time to rip everything apart and spend money I shouldn't on things I don't need... Figured I'd do another build thread if anyone cares to follow along. Got quite a few things planned that were on last years list that didn't get done as well as some new ones. We'll see how far we get!
Here's the list as it stands so far:
The Boring Stuff: (dreading all 5 of these)
-Delrin Bushings
-Camber Lockout Bolts
-Bump Steer Kit
-Johnson Lifters
-Caliper Rebuild
Interior
-Seat recover (or possibly c7 seats if I find a set)
-Custom door panels
-Custom headliner
-DIY Forged Carbon steering wheel (in progress already)
Exterior
-Re Wrap (I think we've finally landed on a color but I wont spoil it yet... its green, I'll say that much)
-Wheels (finally think I've made a decision there as well)
-New ground effects from EOS (boring but the current ones took a thrashing this summer)
-Probably going to raise it back up just a hair (because of above )
-Infiray Tails... I think its time for an update there...
Performance
-Valvetronic exhaust with carbon tips... (though to be fair this one wont be a DIY... paying a friend to fab it up for me.)
So far that's the list, I know some of you enjoyed last years build thread so figured I'd do another. As always love constructive criticism and suggestions. I'll start updating with the steering wheel project as soon as I have a little more to show.

Got the stripes all lined out now, pretty happy with the results, I think they can stay for now!

I debated a lime green lol... but na its more on theme with what I currently have, just a slight change up. Id say maybe a hair darker but alot more vibrant.

I can’t wait to see the new color that you have chosen. Any chance of posting a few pics of the new wrap being done as it is in progress? Although I am 100% satisfied with the color of mine, I am fascinated by the quality of wraps that I have seen — yours especially. Cheers.

Finally have an update worth posting. Got started on the door cards this weekend. Wrapped them with self adhesive microsuede. Honestly super impressed with this stuff. Hopefully it holds up but if not we'll go about it a different way. I also did the plastic piece that covers the top of the halo (didnt get a pic). Not bad for $50 bucks. If it doesn't hold up I'll revisit it with some actual microsuede later on down the road. Also got my Infirai's from Vette-Lights this weekend and through them in for a test fit... love the look. Cant wait to see them on the new color.
If anyone is interested in the material I used check this out (my only gripe with it is its sold in oddball sizes, other than that its awesome to work with):

soooo this was more of a trial run for the larger plan lol... but yeah these might eventually get matched to the new seat cover/seat (current ones are titanium they just dont photograph well) which is probably going to be like a brick/tan color. I eventually want to actually wrap the whole panel in real leather and alcantara. I just need to actually decide on something and get with my upholstery girl on it. She did a custom interior for me in my Trans Am so we've been back and forth on ideas for this one. Still trying to decide if i want to just do covers on the stockers or go with c7 comps... Not really in my budget but man it would look good.

Its actually got its own adhesive, found it on amazon. Goes on almost like a wrap. Shocked at how durable it seems for what it is.
