Does anyone know what this device does? It's dangling in the drivers foot well, bumping into my left foot. It's about 1 1/2" x 3" with 2 RCA plugs hanging out and 2 wires disappearing under the dash. There's nothing connected to the RCA plugs.

It looks like it was connected to speakers, but I don't see anywhere where speakers were mounted.
