Not sure what you hope to gain from asking this question because it’s a given you’re going to get the entire spectrum of answers. If you have second thoughts about it, then that tells me you aren’t entirely happy with the result. If you want an opinion, it makes you car look like an ant. To me, the designers were spot on with all cosmetic aspects of the C6. I particularly liked the shape of the exposed headlight assembly with the body color interior which integrates so well. The Lamin-X covers ruin the integration, although they might work on a black car. But that’s just how my personal tastes see it. I wouldn’t do it, but I respect the fact that tastes are individual and if you think it looks better than how it came from the factory, that’s all that matters.
Black c6 here. I have morimotos and love the way they look. I had the film put on and didn't like it. I preferred the look of the lights and thought the film hid too much. That said, I'm a fan of the film on the red. Film just like lights is opinion based. Plenty of guys like the outdated oem headlights. Your car to do as you please. No validation needed.

What I look to gain from other's opinions is to get - other's opinions. While I'll always put my preference above other's opinions, I still do factor in what other C6 owners think about it. When I am on the road and I see another C6 on the road, we always wave at each other. There's a brotherhood in that regard.
I didn't see the ant, although I do now. I see an alien. The nice thing about the Lamin-X is it's easily removeable! It may well come off before I ever hit the road with it.
