Got to remember that some generations were longer than others. But here's a breakdown of each generation.
Generation - No. of years - No. of Vettes built per year
C1 - 10 - 6901
C2 - 5 - 23593
C3 - 15 - 36191
C4 - 13 - 27552
C5 - 8 - 31089
C6 - 9 - 23903
C7 - 6 - 31584
C8 - 3 - 27031
And yes, more Vettes were built per year in the C3 generation.

Interesting information. Corvette sales seem to drop during economic downturns. Other societal factors also come in to play also. Thank you for sharing.

Cool stats.
Since Independence Day is a few days away, I wonder what % of Corvettes were Red, White, and Blue per generation? Assuming that all the variations of Red lumped together, same for white and blue.

The original Microsoft Office 2000 SR1 was 4 CDs.
I've got the MS Office spreadsheet version of several pics I've posted, but that's about it.

I'm asking for the specific workbook that contains the data underneath the graphs for which you provided screenshots. Last week it was an attachment in this thread and was downloadable. Presently, I no longer see the attachment.

Interesting to note that Z06 production dropped quite a bit with the introduction of GS coupe and convertible

My opinion is that the C6 is really a tale of two completely different bodies, in terms of public perception: the widebody, and standard body. The changes to the widebody are subtle: wider fenders front and rear, and a rear scoop. But those changes make all the difference visually. The narrow body is a good-looking car, but the widebody adds an aggression that is instinctively realized by the viewer.
The Excel screenshot above shows how dominant the widebody was in MY2010 through MY2013. In 2013, three out of every four C6's were widebodies!
My path to my Z06 purchase went as follows:
I'd like to get a drive in a Grand Sport just to say I've done it.

My path to my Z06 purchase went as follows:
- I'm price-sensitive, so I want a 2008-2009 Z51.
- Hmmm... that widebody looks so, so good. And I never have enough tire because I prize chassis dynamics above all else, including power. I think I want a Grand Sport. It's got the look with the repairability of a steel chassis and the reliability of the legendary LS3.
- Wow. Grand Sports still command a lot of money. They seem to command more money, mile for mile, than a Z06. I guess people really ARE spooked by the LS7 and the aluminum chassis.
- I'm still price sensitive, so maybe I'll get a Z06.
I'd like to get a drive in a Grand Sport just to say I've done it.

For anyone who might want more information about Corvettes, the spreadsheets that I created contain information from the Corvette Black Book. That paperback book is available at "www.corvetteblackbook.com."
