Here is some proof so I can plead insanity later...what if it came from the factory with the donuts and you could mod your car to the clean/plain look? I bet people would do it. Btw, I'm kicking myself for not buying the morimotos last black Friday if that tells you anything.

I just like the look of the "donuts" better. The depth they have looks really great in person, but it's not always captured well in photos. I think they fit the rear end well and I like how they accentuate the round tail light bezels.
I saw a blue ZR1 late at night last summer with the donut tails and I was instantly sold. They look good during the day but at night they really stand out in a good way.

I am in the keep it stock minority. Ive had a few Vettes and kept them all looking stock. Prefer to mod the motor. No harm in the light mods but it is not for me.

that's been me. Most everything i do to a car you cant see. Heck ive only changed the radio once in any of my cars lol. This one will be my second...have to have bluetooth and hands free. Def. all good with mods people do and getting others perspective on the lights is a plus for me.

If you are replacing head unit for bluetooth and hands free, might I suggest also adding a rear camera? Then the car will be perfect. YMMV
