Had a Tire Blowout "Rear Driver" and Car Wont Start
I had a tire blow out today on the freeway... Completely out of no where on a pretty rough road and had my wheel well liner completely blown into pieces and fully fly off, which then caused my tire to rub all over the wheel well and the rear tub. I was able to get her a tow home and was not able to start it up at home. The car cranks and shows compression like normal, but doesn't want to start. I pushed the car into the garage and jacked it up to see the damage and found that there is some sort of harness dangling coming out from the gas tank crossover. I'm not sure if this is the problem, but It seems like it, and wanted to ask if you guys have any idea what this is, or possibly where I can get a replacement. This car seems to not be receiving fuel, which makes me think if this is fuel pump related at all. I would really appreciate it tons, thank you. FYI, this is the (Driver Side Rear Quarter).
