I'm biased, I love the C6 the C8 doesn't look like a vette. At least the C7 was close.

Ask this question in the C8 section and report back your results I suggest you might get a different result asking owners who have spent their $$ on their car. I love my C6 but if I loved the C8, I’d likely answer your question differently and I’d have one sitting in my shop!

C6 is the last Vette that has the curves that have always been there since the C1. I like the C8 for what it is, and what it competes with at the price point it is at is a great feat. Think they pretty much had to do something to make it popular again.
My wife even told me she likes the look of mine over the new model, or even the C7. She said it is "sexier".

Honestly, I think the narrow body C6 in that picture is starting to look a bit "dated" next to the C8. But the C6, is instantly recognizable as a Corvette and that C8 could be any of the now somewhat common mid-engine cars.
I think the wide body C6's in particular blow the doors off C7 and C8 in the looks department. Classic flowing lines that your eyes follow. C8 (and to a lesser extend the C7) are way too hard-edged and angular looking.
Now, the C8 is a performer for sure.
And another major issue between the two is that I know that the C6 comes in a manual transmission (as God intended) but the C8 is only an automatic.

C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
For those who take road trips, I find my C6 is somewhat more comfortable than my C7. Although I've never driven a C8 (I've sat in one), the people I know who have one, say it's a driver's car and only tolerable for the passenger. The biggest and pretty much the only thing I miss in my C7, is the rear visibility that the C6 has.
From an exterior point of view, color plays a much bigger factor for the general public and for women in particular.
Red, especially CRM, looks great on a C6. White is best on a C7. The jury is still out on the best C8 color.
No matter what I drive, the color and exterior appearance are not the primary things on my mind at the time.

That is one beautiful car, when the kids see my C6 they often think the car is newer than it is. Wide body or base the C6 is a timeless design I loved it when it debut in 05 and made it my mission to buy one. I drove a C7 even though the interior was miles ahead of the C6 it was very narrow and cramped inside. My C6 fits me like a glove. Performance wise my LS3,Z51 with NPP has major league ********* not far from a base C7. Got the car that I always wanted couldn’t be more happier.
