I have owned 6 corvettes so far, one of which was a 2007. I have owned 2 C7s including the one I own now. I am trading my C7 Convertible for a C6 Convertible and $17,000 next week. I always liked my previous C6 but it was a bit road worn from traveling the west coast and using as a DD for a couple of years. (we lived in California for a few years) I will say this, the C7 coupe and C7 convertible I had were great cars also, but mine just wasn't getting driven much. With the ridiculously high resale value right now, I decided it was time to cash out on the C7 and step back to a C6. I started to give up the Corvettes altogether, since my wife has Parkinson's and it makes it difficult for her to get in and out of the Vettes, but we still enjoy a little blast in the Vette occasionally. I was fortunate to find a C6 red convertible (which is also what my C7 is) with only 42,000 miles. The dealer who has it found out that I had a C7 which was going to be sold to a local dealer and offered to buy it for about the same price, making it a "trade in" so I can avoid paying sales tax. The fun fact is the C6 is a manual which will be fun for me since all of my previous Vettes were automatics. (my wife always wanted me to get autos so she could drive it) I have owned cars with a standard transmission before, just not a Vette. I am looking forward to my 13 hour road trip home in the C^.
So anyway it is time to move on to a C6. I will be flying to the midwest next week to pick up my C6 and the guy will be sending a transport to pick up my current C7. I am a little sad but the 17K will sure come in handy and I will still have a lot of fun driving the C6.

Smart move and great choice. I love my Red C6 Convertible with manual transmission.

Any Vette you have is the right Vette I my humble opinion! But, this is a great time to sell and pocket the money, especially since you would like the M6. I sold my Firebird for this reason. I think the used car market will cycle back down in this sucky Biden economy- so when prices go down, I may look for another toy.
Also, another plus is that it’s easier to enter and exit the c6 than the C7 and its a little lighter so performance is close!
