It's not too hard. There's a pin pressed in the original pedal that you have to pull out with vice grips. May not be the most fun time in such a tight space. Then the Elite pedal bolts in. This was the first thing I did to my GS.

The Elite gas pedal is the way a manual trans performance car should have come from GM.
I do understand they have to accomodate drivers with flipper sized feet, but this was just impossible to rev match for me with size 9 feet ( I was weaned on FF1600, British, then *** sports cars, BMW, Porsche...none of which were as bad as the Vette.
And don't get me started on the factory seats with no lateral support and flexy backrests.
