Well this happened other day at gas pump
Had a gas smell in my 2008 C6, got pointed in correct direction here
Brother in law owns local Goodyear shop, one of the fuel pumps (drivers side) had that notorious leak (found out on here I was too late for the recall )
Have not driven in since picking up back in late January , had 4 new Michelin run flats to boot so nice bill 😂
Drove Vette back and forth to work few days last week and on way home one evening stopped to fill up Not really paying any attention but looked down and this is what I saw
Now keep this in mind, hard for most folks to imagine but I have ZERO sense of smell, Took a little bit to realize still coming out and it was gas
Called BIL and he sent rollback to pick up
This seemed to be further up than fuel pump. Not sure if something did not get tightened down correctly but he did mention a transfer pump
Swamped in my office next 3 weeks so have not had time to even call him (Income Tax Business ).
Any ideas , like I said this is the first time gas has been put in since I picked car up from fuel pump replacement No gas smell BUT it has been outside garage under weather proof cover (wife’s tahoe got Vette parking spot while it was gone 😂

Certainly, something was not installed/re installed correctly during the repair, hopefully the repair shop will take care of this on their own dime

It's clearly a hose not attached right or something.
That said, how did you know you had the fuel vapor issue if you couldn't smell that you spilled like a gallon of gas under the car?

Good god that's a lot of money laying on the ground.

Looks like they didn't get the seals right between the crossover tube and the fuel tank. There are three o-rings - two on the fuel lines and one on the crossover.

Common problem when you install caliper covers.
JK... Hope it is resolved quick though, that is too bad.
