I have one and love it. And I did the extra programming to auto lock the car when the e-brake is released and auto unlock the car when the e-brake is released. Very easy to program to extra features.

When I finished I got in the car and hit the memory button. It beeped three times. Maybe its warning me that I was getting ripped off by the gas station. But seriously Why would beep the horn?

youre not kidding. It’s 5.80 around here. Yesterday I filled my gas tank with premium gasoline and tears. Pretty soon I’ll be filling it up with Tears and dreams while I drive my wife’s car to work just to reduce some of this insanity.
Back on topic, I’ve gotta get one of these window valets. It’s way too hot around here to not have one.
I was able to buy a brand new one for $50! I figured for that price, why not try it. I need to use it more, I honestly forget I have it all the time! Mine lasted about 18 months. I've tried to reinstall it but no luck.
I never had any problems before it just quit working one day. I sure do miss it because I really liked every one of the features. Will keep trying to resurrect it.
(Also, in south Texas it is really hot in there. Maybe it just fried it. Possibly needs to be reprogrammed?)
I will try to remember all this as it has occurred over the past few days. Old window valet (WVold) doesn't work, so I bought a new one (WVnew) from Southern Car Parts. Excellent and very prompt service from Southern Car Parts..WVnew was here in 4-5 days. No problem at all.
Over the past several days I have tried to reset WVold by removing and reinserting it several times. No luck. Car works normally with or without WVold in place. I finally thought it might be my OBD2 port. In any case, it did not work at all.
Today I finally went out to insert WVnew in place; the WVold was in place as I approached the car. WVold started working. I was unable to use my key FOB to get into the car. Even the three short beeps worked as I pulled on the door. Could not raise or lower windows. It was as if I was a stranger with no key trying to get into the car. I thought it was because I had WVnew in my pocket, so I removed WVnew from my pocket and placed it back in the house. Now, WVold works just fine. I have a few ideas, but really I think the WVold just started working when I tried the door. Not sure why.
Maybe this will help someone who has a similar issue.
Mine still beeps at me for no apparent reason. Really screws me up when coasting into garage at 3 am. I turn off car. Then it decides to beep at me. And of course at 3 am I'm not remembering to unplug it.
