Default Front fender rock guards

Did a search, looking for Front Fender Rock Guards that are more pleasing to look at for my 2007 Z06. The ZR1 guards I have just look to gaudy to me.
Show me what’s out there. TIA.

Should fix your hood struts before worrying about splash guards

You would do well to stay away from Apsis guards. See my todays post.

I have the APSIS guards and are happy with them although I should have gotten the smaller ones instead of the standard ones. The standard ones are kind of big but I guess the bigger the more protection.

If you’re worried about throwing rocks back near the rear brake duct opening, I’d just cover that area with Xpel. It’s probably close to the same cost as those rock guards.

I also have the larger Apsis front guards, they look ok on the car & do provide protection....they fit very well

I've got the smaller Apsis front splashguards on my GS. Had to do a little modification (trimming) to get them to look right.

Hi All,

Thanks for the comments.

We take further look and find out the possible reason is the rubber gasket at the top stick out more than it should be. Have a new person wrapping the rubber gasket and he is not aware of the issue.

Once the rubber gasket is wrapped, it needs to cut a notch to make the rubber gasket to be flat & smooth. If the rubber gasket is not flat & smooth, the it will stick out from fender and cause the fitment issue.

We will pull out our existing inventory to have further check.

We have sold thousands and thousands of our splash guard through years and normally it should fit like glove.

If you have encountered the same issue, then just use dremal or a knife to trim the rubber gasket. It's easy correction. Sorry for the inconvenience.

When i bought the car, it had some small chips but instead of fixing, the previous owner went ahead with xpel/3m covering. Do you think that stuff is strong enough? I was thinking about front guards...

I personally believe that just ppf on the fender behind the front wheels is not enough, I went with the splash guards also

I have my front fenders covered in Xpel - no chips or scratches. I don’t have my rear quarters covered (but may add it) and the only small chips I have are on the plastic rear brake duct insert. The only reason you can see them is because I painted the inserts body-color, but you still have to look very closely to even see the tiny chips.

Put Xpel here and you should be fine.
