My 2008 Z06 that is under GMEPP warranty until May 2022. It now has Driver Side Mirror Discoloration (Dimming Mirror). My local dealer said that glass and mirrors are not covered under the GMEPP warranty. Shouldn't this be covered as the mirror itself is not broken? It seems to be the dimming liquid inside the mirror that is creating the problem. This is more of a malfunction of the system than a broken or weathered mirror. The car is always garaged and only has 25k miles. I can pay out of pocket to get it fixed correctly or just glue another mirror over it. It just seems like something that should be covered under the warranty.
