Grand Sport beside the Grand River
Where else to take a pic of a Grand Sport, but beside the Grand River? The West Montrose Covered Bridge is Ontario’s last remaining covered bridge. Located in Woolwich Township, the bridge has a 198-foot span across the Grand River.
Built in 1881, visitors come from all over the world to experience this picturesque and unique bridge. The roof over the bridge protects the large timbers and trusses from the elements; this is also the reason the bridge is still standing after more than 100 years. It is also the reason it is often referred to as “The Kissing Bridge”, as early horse and buggy drivers would sneak a kiss while driving through the sheltered bridge.
The structure is still used by pedestrians, buggy traffic and vehicles weighing less than three tonnes for crossing the river.
I've got a pic of the vette exiting the bridge, which is going to be on the cover of the club magazine. I'll post that up when they issue the mag.

I had my 2011 (dry sump) GS dyno'd a couple of years ago before having headers and catted X pipes installed. The day it was tested was extremely hot 98-100 degrees. My car put out 385 rwh before the headers and tune. After the headers and dyno tune, it made 420 rwh. I'm thinking it would have made more hp if it wasn't so hot and humid. I may get it re-dyno-tuned to see if a bit more hp can be found.

Let’s keep this thread alive; we had a club cruise yesterday that started with a private tour of the Fleetwood Farm, hosted by Steve Plunkett himself. https://www.fleetwoodcountrycruizein...s/carshow.html The 2 hour drive there was worth it by any measure. If you are ever in the area, and the timing is right, don’t miss the opportunity. The collection this gentleman has of classic GM vehicles is simply amazing. Mostly, he focuses on Cadillacs, but there’s some noteworthy Buicks, Olds, and Pontiac’s. The degree to which they’ve been restored is something you need to see in person. I’ve never seen better paint or bright work on anything, and of course the mechanicals are at least as good as when they rolled off the assembly line. Same is true of the interiors. Many if the Cadillac examples are historically significant too. Here are a few pics

Joined a group of exotics and sports cars out to Skyline Drive. The Grand Sport can hang. I'm last in line at the time this video was taken.

Where can i find the plate/plaque having the name of the engine builder on it on my 2012 GS ? I've read here that M6 GS's had the engines hand assembled at the Wixom engine plant and the builder gets their name etched on a plate or plaque that is on the car somewhere ?

Found OJ.
Who else drives their GS year round? I think the garage queens are starting to be put to bed around here.

Melting Slicks
I drive mine year round except last year when I had 2 knee replacements. I just don't drive it on really cold days with the summer tires.
