. They completely transform the feel of the car. The cool thing about the Callaway build is that all of the power and electronic functions still work....seat memory, heat, airbag sensor etc.

Definitely looks better without the wrap.
Do like what you did with the spoiler though.

Thank you, I appreciate the comment. Ive wanted one of these cars for awhile and had it planned out in my head what I wanted it to look like. So far its coming together just as I pictured it !!

Thank you! It honestly looked much better in person but as as soon as I peeled it off I instantly knew I made the right decision

Comfortable for long drives? Are you tall/short/big/small?
I am 5'9 at about 190 Lb. These Recaro Speed-V seats fit me fine. They have about the same leg room as the stock seats but a little more head room than the stock seats ... They work well on long drives since they are adjustable in recline and have padding equal to the stock seats.

My bitch with these seats is that the seat bottom side supports are too high for me since I am now pretty old ... Not that hard to get into the car, but a bitch to get out of it because of the high seat bottom support.

I put a the red arrows in the photo below showing were the support is too high for me:

(BTW ... I don't normally use the Simpson driver's side restraint harness you see in the photo below when I am driving around town ... I just laid them out for the photo so you can see how they look)

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!

Getting out of the car isn't my absolute favorite part of owning the Vette already so that is definitely something to seriously consider.

I did not have the sweating issue......and in Florida. But mine where leather and not with the suede insert....you can swap that insert easy.

May be a personal thing...As mine were trimmed in Germany at a premier leather shop, I'll be keeping it as is

I love my Night Race Blue Grand Sport but wanted something to make my engine compartment pop. I ordered these from American Hydrocarbon in Jetstream Blue with silver letters.

One of the first mods I did to my car was add NPP mufflers and the NPP in a box kit.

About 6 months later on the way to LS Fest in Kentucky, the silent mode stopped working. Figured I had a vacuum leak somewhere but couldn't find anything that stood out as wrong. Decided I'd just go in loud mode 100% of the time. Well, about 6 months of that and I decided I needed to figure out how to make them quiet again. It's fine for a while, but after about an hour of driving, I started to get headaches and just feel fatigued by the noise of the car.

I looked over all the lines and everything was still connected. Then I manually closed the valves to make sure they weren't binding and they weren't. Then I bypassed the NPP in a box kit and the valves closed fine, so I knew the vacuum lines were still providing vacuum and the issue was something in the kit. When I hit the button to switch between loud and quiet, I could hear pieces in the kit moving, so I knew I was getting power to the box. Had to be the vacuum solenoid at that point. I was going to buy a new one but they are surprisingly pricey at $35-40. I decided to take it apart and found it was rusty on some pieces inside. After scrubbing the pieces clean, we are back in business. Nothing like a free fix.

I also replaced the AC blower motor today. Had a weird issue where the AC would blow cold for about 30 minutes, but on really hot days, the AC would stop blowing almost entirely. If I cycled through all the different settings, there was no change. If I completely turned off the AC for 10-15 minutes, it would come back on and blow cold. But that was a hot 10-15. Local shop who replaced my AC compressor last summer said it's the blower motor and was easy to replace, so I did. Hoping for cooler air this summer.

Finally made the shark gills "functional," installed the OEM black fender decals, fixed a wonky driver's side fog light, and installed the EOS front splitter to replace the trashed stock one.

Finally feel like I'm at a good point with the car!

What did you do to fix the wonky driver's side fog light? Mine only fits in securely from the bottom, not the top. So it will hold solid in place but the top flops back inside the bumper aiming to the sky. It's like there are clear plastic nubs that are supposed to go into some holes but the nubs aren't there. I originally fixed it with a couple plastic zip ties but they both eventually came off. This past week when I was messing with my grill I bought some metal zip ties to hold the top of the fog light. Hoping the metal holds it in place, otherwise I might end up buying a new light.

Yeah, the plastic tabs on mine appeared to be broken as well, so I got some double sided gorilla tape (get the strongest one you can) and put it between the top of the fog light and the bracket that the plastic tabs are supposed to attach to. You can't see the tape and wouldn't know it unless you removed the fog light.

Oh I like that idea, I may have to redo mine. I have automotive grade 3M double stick tape on hand too.

Default Gs

Did a few appearance mods. I added the heritage stripes and a ZR1 splitter. I also changed rims to the Spyder Z06 style. The funny thing is one of the reasons I bought a GS was the stock rims. I am keeping the stock GS rims in case I change my mind.
