TPMS sensors replacements.

I ordered Schrader replacements from online an vendor; then scheduled an appointment with Discount Tire to check tire balance and perform the install.
Since I bought the tires from them, the rebalance was "no charge"; the tpms sensor install and setup was just under $40.
Ideally, you would install sensors when you replace tires, that way, there will not be an extra charge for breaking down the tire.
Be sure you order correct sensors for your model year; and do replace all four sensors at same time.

I get mine at my local tire dealer.

Schrader sensors were the OEM sensors. I bought 4 of them from Rock Auto for just over $100.00 for all 4 about 5 years ago.

I also got Schrader from Rock Auto early this year. They work as expected and less than $100 delivered. You can spend more on OEM but why would be the question.

I just needed a set of sensors for my new wheels but Rockauto was out of stock on the $20 Schrader's which is a screamin deal (they're back in stock now). I tried dealing with Bob's on wheels and sensors. He insisted I call him instead of emailing which retains an easily trackable record. 2 weeks later I tried to order based on his preferred verbal quote, he had forgotten all about it and acted like I was trying to scam him. When I did get the wheels/sensors I tried having them mounted at Discount Tire (who I normally like), they quoted me $240.00 to mount and balance my 4 wheels OFF the car!! Needless to say I dealt with neither.

I ended up buying some second-hand sensors to try them out until I need new tires. Then I'll order these and start fresh.

OEM sensors have an expected design life of 10 years. I bought a cheap set of 4 on Ebay for my F-150 for $25 almost 5 years ago and they are still going strong. At that price I figure I can afford to put new sensors on every time I change out tires, which is typically due to age since I retired. I changed the tires on my mother's 2008 Saturn Vue about 6 months ago and did the same for new sensors (dealership price matches tires but wanted $150 for sensors); it still had the original OEM sensors so she was on borrowed time. It only has 63k miles on it.

Replaced all 4 at Discount when having new tread put on each corner, worked a deal for $20 each. Just had 1 replaced on my truck which was ~$60 for one, so got a pretty good deal but also spent allot on rubber that day also.
