Default C5 Reg. Says These C6 photos are 80% correct..

They are the Road and Track pictures of the red cpe. and blue vert. They say there inside mole said these are pics of GM design studios clay and foil full sized models before Lutz's minor changes.

They were the best looking of all of the guesses, from the windshield back.

I hope Lutz changed the ugly-**** front end, if this is true.

Edit: Wait...Road and Track did two different sets with one red and one blue. In one it was the reddish/orange one that was a 'Vert and the blue one was a coupe and that's the one I was thinking of and liked.

In the other, it was the blue one that was a 'Vert and the red one was a coupe, and they were based off of the Solstice and looked dumb.

Did you ever stop and think that the Pontiac Solistace could be just a styling mule for the C6? A way to show the basic body design of Corvette and get opnions on it without giving up the farm? Didn't Bob Lutz pen the Pontiac??

:iagree: I think you hit the nail on the head.

Put C6 features on other concept cars and get feedback...

Yeah your right Bob Lutz can picture a 4 cyl Corvette built on a Opel Speedster Platform. Road & Track has been historically the most off when it came to Concepts of future cars, now if it was MT that may come close. But no way R&T and I don't know or give a damn who your 80% are, but that is not a C6 Period. :nono:

I really doubt they were pictures of clay, since Road & Track itself said that they were (at least largely) done by computer.

The 4 cly engine and Opal platform just adds to the deception. Its the outward design cues they are trying to get comments on. Didn't the Pontiac have a center exaust port too?

Yeah...that's the one I was thinking of. I like that. I absolutely abhor the one based on the solstice.

And, take a second look at the Blue Coupe depicted by R&T. It would have one heck of a rear, to the sides, blind spot. That just can't be right as they show it.

No worse than some previous 'Vettes. In a performace car, you're more worried about what's in front of you anyway. The blue coupe is pretty damn good for an 80% (if that's what it is.)

No lutz DID NOT. It was a design penned by a designer in Cali. The drawings were done up when Lutz asked for a concept of a euro 2 seat vert.

Your way off.
