Default Show me your aftermarket steering wheel!

I think the time has come for me to buy a new wheel. I recently bought my daughter a G37, and the steering wheel in it has thumb grooves for comfort and grip, it makes a world of difference in the driving experience and feel. I can't imagine how much better my vette will feel with a wheel like that! Show me what you have with cost i
f you don't mind and brand. Thank you!

Flat top & bottom F1 steering wheel, spoke covers, air bag cover, & ebrake handle in carbon fiber and ebony leather with titanium stitching from our friend Vasiliy at RFE designs:

Really nice work, reasonable prices & great customer service. Highly recommend RFE designs.

Keep in mind that from 2006 up, the steering wheel in the C6 is just a Cobat steering wheel, with the vet embalm on the air bag center.
Note, used on some of the Saturns as well.

So since you will be using your old air bag, and even the side buttons pods off the old wheel, can save some money and not get hit with the Vet tax is you look for a cobat custom wheel instead.

The airbag is the worst part of the wheel. Spend the extra $250 for a custom airbag cover

If you had the new steering wheel professionally installed, do you know the number of hours of labor that would be reasonable? I am asking for hours because labor rates can vary so much across the country.

Thanks.

It literally takes about 10 min in your garage. Pop the airbag off, remove 1 nut, disconnect 2 wire clips and remove wheel. Reverse process to install new one. If you’re replacing the airbag cover, add another 10 min to swap the airbag into the new cover.

I have never installed a steering wheel, but after watching some videos and seeing posts on here I decided to do it myself. It is so incredibly easy to do! Including waiting 10 minutes after disconnecting the battery, it took me about 25-30 minutes and that was taking my time and being as careful as possible!

Nice setup! A couple of questions:

Did you use an NRG adapter & quick release, or another brand?
What did you do to disable the airbag light?

And tell us about that shift lever.
