Default Performance Shops in Central Florida

Looking for recommendations for trusted Corvette performance shops near me that could install new heads, bolt-ons, etc. and do general maintenance work on 2013 427 Convertible. Must have a chassis dyno and tuning capability. I'm on the east coast near Melbourne. Thanks for any input.

I have not personally used them but I have heard nothing but good things about Corvette Masters in Maitland.
I realize you said local to Melbourne - Eismann’s Corvette Center in Jupiter is also top notch.

10-4. Thought Maitland (Orlando) might have been closer.
I have used Eismann’s for general maintenance.
Very impressed with their shop.

Yes, Maitland probably closer and I will call both.

I would like to use someone that others here have experience with. Thanks again.

I don’t usually knock a shop I’ve never used, but I called them for a quote for a brake master cylinder. Told me labor would be $800, “the book” time is about 4 hours, a decent mechanic can do it in 1-2. I questioned the price and he told me the seat has to come out which also isn’t true. I have no doubt they do decent work, just the price gouging in itself is enough to turn me off. I would rather have a shop tell me they don’t have the time to do it since it’s a small job than price gouge just so they don’t have to do it. To the OP unfortunately I don’t have any recommendations for central florida, but redline motor sports is a good shop that does good work and have been around since the LS1 days. They are in pompano about an hour from Jupiter.

Disappointing to hear but as I think about it, they did quote me a ridiculous price for Morimoto headlight installation.
To your point, this may have become their MO when they don’t want to do a job.
Moving forward, I will keep this in mind.

Thanks for the input.

I called Corvette Masters and they quoted $1800 to do the head swap. Sounds like 2 days at $100 an hour. Does this sound reasonable?

So, your looking for a performance shop that specializes in late model Corvettes and has a dyno and does dyno tuning in central Florida ... Look no further than "Redline Motorsports" in Pompano Beach (north of Fort Lauderdale).

Excellent, very well equipped shop (and one of the best dyno tuners in the business)

I couldn't agree more on Red Line Motor Sports. I brought my '06 Z to them from Naples and was extremely glad I did. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I just sent an email to Redline Motorsports laying out what I have purchased parts-wise and what use and goals I have in mind for the Vette. Their shop is about 2 and a half hours away, but not that bad a drive if you don't do it at rush hour.

Redline Motorsports did the dyno tuning on my GS after I installed the supercharger ... They are about a 2 - 2.5 hour drive for me too, but well worth the drive to get something done right !

Last December, i had a problem, had to call a flat bed, phoned you guys like 5 times in an hour to see if i can bring it to you, no one answered the calls, and no one ever returned my messages. I ended up at vette experts, where the took my money, some $3500 plus.

I am going back to Redline Motorsports very soon and have them change out my stock LS3 cam for a Cam Motion cam and then a re-tune on the dyno.

In fact, Redline just ordered the cam from Cam Motion today ... just have to wait till it gets delivered to Redline and then set an install date.

Spoke with Howard today as well. Looks like there’s a good chance I’m just gonna bite the bullet and get ARH headers instead of speed engineering. When I’m ready to do something I hate waiting (everything is on back order). I really wanna do blower/cam/meth but unfortunately it’s not in the cards just yet, but could be very soon. My only concerns with that is the south Florida heat with a blower, these cars run hot stock. Last thing I wanna do is spend 10-15k and then have to throw another few grand at it on different fans, radiators, intercoolers etc,

I am not sure of the specifics of your statement but we surely don't flat out ignore customers....we are a busy operation and often we spend a lot of time on the phone with customers or at the front counter. If you called 5 times in an hour I would hope you left a message. Regardless we do the best we can to respond to people. Many of our customers and potential customers get correspondence's from me at all hours of night...something most shops would never do.
