Default NPP in a box question

Got NPP mufflers and thinking I'm going to go with the NPP in a box controller. Looked and felt behind the intake manifold and I can't even see and barely feel the vacuum nipple. Wondering if anybody has done this and how you went about it!! Is there any option? What about a reducing T fitting in the power brake vacuum tube? Is it possible to drill and tap into the intake manifold and screw in a barbed fitting?

Do you have an LS2 or LS3?

You can order the kit with a T fitting to tap into the MAP line, which is what I did. It's been fine for 4 years now.

Motor is an LS2 but the problem is that I don't see any vacuum lines other than the brake booster.

I have done it twice on a 2008 coupe 1LT and a 2008 convertible 3LT.

It was very hard to get my hand back there to cut nipple but that is the hardest part of job. I have medium to large hands.

With a LS2 it is pretty easy,,, the vacuum tap is up front...but I forgot where, do a search and you should find it in the forum.

I used the braille method, utilizing a small open end wrench, and twisted the cap off. See photo below for location:
