Need help diagnosing a C6 2006 A6 leak
This may be difficult but thought that I'd ask anyway before I may have to take this to the dealer I have a front end leak that appears to be steering fluid. However, I'm having a hard time diagnosing. I got the car up on my Rino ramps and took these pics. 1st pic is from below. 2nd pic is looking down to where the leak is at the light. 3 pic is the only one that I see with lots of fresh fluid. 4th pic shows a clean pulley belt. Any thoughts on the source of the leak? i.e. fluid type, leak location.
Thanks!

Look at the PS pressure line. The 2005-7 have a short hose with a tight bend that is a known failure item. All replacement hoses are the new-style hose that is triple the length and is re-routed.
Start engine and get someone to crank steering full turn to maximize pressure. Mine had a pinhole leak in the hose.
