Ideas for battery maintainer location
Does anyone have a nice spot where they hid their battery maintainer cord that is accessible without opening the hood of the car? I was thinking somewhere in the wheel well area?

You don't have a plug in type? Get one!

I have a trickle charger plugged into my wall, then I have the other end bolted to the battery. I don't like having to leave the hood open to charge. Is there some place that guys run the battery terminal end of the charger so its accessible without opening the hood, to plug it into the wall end. Does that make sense?

The doors have a handy-dandy divot to accommodate the cord on the sill.
In order to plug into the hot "cig" ports inside.

Burning Brakes
I ran mine to the grill on the passenger side. Nice and tidy. Used an extension, wired directly to battery.

OP, you keep saying "trickle" charger, but I'm guessing you are referring to a battery tender / maintainer. A trickle charger and a battery tender are not the same thing.

Not pretty but PVC pipe rig to hold Ctek at ceiling. Plugs in at garage opener, high enough to clear head and low enough to reach switch. Plug tucks in at wiper arm, out of the rain. Works well for a dozen years. You never forget to unplug when heading out, as I would do if it came through the front grill.

As said above put the cord somewhere obvious so you don’t forget to unplug it. That might be quite a large repair bill on the front bumper if something unexpectedly comes up and you have to jump in the car and run.. no matter what the choice have it go in thru the driver door side so you can’t miss it.

Connect direct to battery.
Run cord on the side of engine bay and connect to other cables using cable ties.
Just leave a bit sticking out of grill to connect.
Run it backwards around a solid piece and it's barely visible when not in use.
I loop an old piece of leather shoelace over steering wheel when it's connected to remind my old brain to disconnect before driving.
