I purchased my first Corvette about 6 weeks ago and thought I'd join the forum of like minded owners. Always wanted one and recently sold my 1970 Chevelle at a car show in Florida. I moved up to the North Georgia Mountains 10 years ago and have always enjoyed the roads up here. Was shopping for a later date C6 when I ran across a 2009 with only 9800 miles on it so with a bit of conversation it's now mine.
Looking forward to reading and posting subjects of interest with the fellow members of the forum,

Welcome, and enjoy your new ride!
I would say join a Corvette Club and let the fun begin.

Congrats! You will enjoy the Corvette. As a former Chevelle owner, can you fill me in on what you had? The 1970 Chevelle was one of the most beautiful cars ever built.

Thanks All
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. Had a bit of trouble getting on line but as to be expected it was a loose nut on the keyboard. True in the fact I hated to sell the Chevelle since it was a project that took 8 years to complete. Finished in 2018 and drove it over 45,000 miles to numerous car shows and trips during that time. Still as nice as it was there was that call of owning a Corvette so when my car traveling companion bought a 1964 Corvette, I knew the time was upon me to finally make the move. Another time I'll tell the story how the sale came about on both the Corvette and the Chevelle.

Chevelle looks great. You put 45K miles on it! That's awesome! Welcome to the forum.
