C6 prices are delusional

Agree, I am very tempted (again) to say goodbye to my 2013 C6 427.
have not been driving it much since I acquired a c5 Z06 and M2 Comp back in late March.
According to Carvana if I sold it to them at the new offer I received yesterday via their online pricing tool I would be up 5K from the price I payed about 11 months ago.

On Autotrader: 2005-2013 Model year, Nationwide. Under 25K asking price, with under 45K miles: 5 cars (only one over 40K, at 42K). Of the 5, two are base 2005's, one 2005 Vert, and one 2007 Vert. Not sure what the deal is with that one, it's low miles and only listed at under 18K. It's on hold anyway.
The rest at 22K to 24.5K.
It would be great to have the time to really dig into pricing, analyze miles, options and models. Autotrader would probably block any web scrape tool I could deploy. I'll check to see if any resources are available somewhere.

Also, not a single one of those you mentioned are LS3 cars. I'd argue 40k is driver mileage, not low mileage on a vette.

The first statement was: " there are 140 C6's on autotrader for under 25K". The retort was " Get back to me with how many LS3, M6, with under 40k miles.".
My look on autotrader supports the second statement.
Prices are up, without a doubt.

I recently purchased the M2 Comp, (my 2nd) this is my backup track car and my new daily driver replacing my F250 which I use now only for towing. (track car or boat)
The Z06 is my dedicated track / HPDE car, I have grown to really love this car even though I can clock quicker course times in the M2.
My 427 is now a garage queen, I really do not want to sell but I can't ignore the current market and what I can get for the car now. If I sell the 427 now I will use some of the proceeds to breath new life in the Z06.
I'll then wait till used car prices come back to earth and perhaps pick up a used C7 Grand Sport manual.

I bought my 2012 GS for $35k with 46k miles on it 3 months ago. I just listed it on FB for $35k lol not anxious to sell it but really want something a little smaller. I'd be happy to get just what i paid for it. but if it doesn't sell... I'll just keep it and enjoy the American muscle monster that it is... beautiful car.

These people are smoking something real good and ego boosting.
Everywhere I look. Private party is damn near 1:1 matching dealership prices!!
in some cases the dealer prices are even better. If I didn’t have to pay all that registration and tax id be going to a dealer.
people are crazy with these prices.

I paid $35k for an '11 3LT GS 6M coupe with 5.5k miles in November 2019. She's up to 11.5k miles now and I wouldn't think of selling - someone would have to offer me $40k just to start thinking about it.
The prices on all used cars are insane - some asking over the original MSRP. It's a game you can't win unless you're selling and not buying anything else - and then you have to consider the sales tax issue. In Missouri you have 180 days to purchase another vehicle and get a sales tax credit. 8.25% on $35-$40k is a good chunk of change.
Edit: The prices remind me. My grandfather bought a 1941 Ford new before the war stopped all new cars. He got all kinds of offers on that car during the war years.

Is this you? Nice car, seems like a great price, surprised you aren't listing it here. You are close, I'd be tempted if it were red/yellow/orange.

Yes, i had it on for less than 24hrs and it sold last night at 8:30. The buyer seen how clean it was and jumped on it. He's getting a beautiful car in mint condition. I liked the car but having European cars for the last 7 or so years.. I like my Porsches better. Absolutely no bashing the vette here it was truly just a matter of preference... plus i got spanked at the track Saturday lol I could not achieve the times i was getting with my 911. on the straights.. the vette pulled away from almost everything there but in the turns... base 911's and caymans with no mods were flying by me as i do when I'm there with the Porsche. no hate here for the vette so don't take me out of context, just not the car i thought i would enjoy.
