Default Sliding cup holder cover

Does anyone know if I can purchase the “slide cover” for the cup holder separately or does it come as an assembly ? Mine broke yesterday 2007. Best place to purchase part? Thank you

It was a poor, but common, design in the early 2000s (my girlfriend's Acura has essentially the same lid).

I got a thin pice of 3M double sided adhesive (the one that is good at elevated temperatures since the interior gets hot), put the pieces back together best I could, covered them with adhesive, then put a piece of leather that matched my seats/boots over it. (these photos were my first attempt and it did not turn out as smooth as I wanted ... I redid it with a second piece of leather and it worked much better.) Works great. Has been about two years so far ...

assembly only. I had to buy a used one. There are some that pop up on ebay, or on here.

I hate to tell you, there not made anymore, and everyone has the same problem, I bought one years ago from junk yard, the cover didn't last long either.

I just leave it open!

just ordered one... mine was broken within the first 2 years of purchasing the car... I was never impressed with the form/fit/finish of the C6 cup holder.

Thanks for the link!!

Mine broke, duct taped the underside sprayed a rubberized paint over the top ... looked great. Then 2 yrs later paint finally cracked, purchased a new one from Zip. ( I would not recommend the product.)

Mine broke right behind the little tab to open/close it. Cut a strip of Gorrilla duct tape to put on the underside. So far so good. Try not to use it much.

At $125 for a reproduction part ... that's way too much

Here is more than likely the same reproduction part at a much cheaper price:

$89.95 + shipping from Corvette Central

I didn't spend much time searching, just letting him know they are out there. $125 is not a lot of money anyway. Some people spend more than that a Starbucks in a week, it's all relative.

Default How to replace the cup assy?

Hi all. My sliding cup holder cover broke yesterday when I tried to close it. Thanks for the links, but how do you take this thing apart to replace it? I checked YouTube, but couldn't find anything.
