How many of us are rocking these beautiful headlights?
Worth the investment but, how much did you pay after installation or DIY?
$1,680 over here w/ tip!

I found a set for $900 and am going to install them myself. So not awful.

I got lucky and got in during the presale a couple of years ago. After selling my stock headlamps and installing the Morimotos myself, I was out about $200. Didn't recoup nearly as much on the fogs or tails though.

Spent way, way less than the OP & don’t let anyone work on my car except my kids when they’re helping me

I personally wanted mine brand new & didn’t mind paying the premium for them.

I’m sure you can find a pair of Morimotos for much less than what I paid.

Installing and aiming the lights took about an hour, hour 1/2 tops. Well worth my time vs hoping someone doesn’t damage the car

I love the style on these but just can't justify the price - which has recently gone up, too. I hardly ever drive at night anyways. The stocks will be just fine for now. Maybe when Black Friday rolls around again this year.

Many C6 owners do not care for the C7-like looks of the Morimoto replacement headlight assemblies. BluegrassMotorsports says he hardly ever drives at night. Those of us who do drive a night are very pleasantly surprised at how much better the Morimotos light up the way ahead. Most C6s eventually develop cloudy Lexan lenses, and the OEM light projectors themselves deteriorate as they age. The Morimoto replacements fit perfectly, have very sharp light projection cut-offs, and are the right color for night driving. For about the same price as a set of new tires, they're a terrific investment.

If you had never seen a C7 or don’t put a C7 next to a C6, you wouldn’t know these lights weren’t “C6” lights. The body-colored projector lights are honestly the only feature on a C6 that makes the car look dated. How many other sports cars have body-colored lights currently? I believe the answer is 0.

When I factor in what I sold my headlights for I’m in for about 400 bucks. I installed the headlights, fog lights, tail lights and side markers, all Morimoto. It gets quite addicting once you start down the LED rabbit hole. All my interior is LED also....

Paid $1280 for mine, well worth the price for the better visibility. Also did the side makers and fogs. Love the look. Here's something you guys who have them set to flash sequentially might be interested in. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...onnectors.html

Both my headlights & tail lights are sequential!

Bought the HLs, Fogs & Oracle Sides from Cole at Vette-Lights on a black Friday sale. Every light has been upgraded to LEDs from Vette-Lights (vanity mirrors, rear view maps, glove comp, hood, interior front & rear, license plate, backups). They were all DIY installations and I love the way they completed the updated blacked out look I was going for.

Nothing, had a slight bump on front bumper and broke one OEM headlight so the cost to replace one through insurance paid for two of these. One of my favourite mods. I recently bought the harness from Radio Flyer too, this eliminated the wires from the fuse box to the headlights and also allowed the headlight flashing to work when they are not on. Plug and play and now they work like factory. The DRL also turns off with this harness when turn signal comes on or the hazards are on.
