Hey guys, today I went and met a Randy (a forum member) to finish the transaction on his baby.....this Atomic Orange Z06. The first time I saw it, I was in love. I thought it would be a nice addition to my C7 Stingray Convertible. Unfortunately The Long-Haired General (my wife) has decided that the ‘72 must go.......so that was the only way that I could acquire something I’ve wanted for a while.......a 7.0 NA Z06. So far, it’s a blast to drive. The C7 is “more sophisticated”, but this thing is just raw power and brute strength.
I just wanted to share a real head-turner and my new toy.
Orange and sebring blue are the only other colors Id like on a vette and yours looks great! Enjoy.
I actually like the C6 more than the C7. C7 is much more refined and feels not as much of a sportscar. Obviously its super capable, but the C6 is so analog and raw.
did you buy an orange one to match the floor jack? I get it; my mother in law once bought a new car because her car's cup holder didn't fit her favorite thermos and the new model did.
I don't know if I like that Atomic Orange color. You will stand out in a crowd. People will constantly bother you and want to look at the car. Police will spot your car in a crowd and come up to you all the time to look at it. Birds love Atomic Orange. The shine on the car will blind you. You will get sick of people wanting to sit in the car. Mechanics charge more to repair an Atomic Orange car. 😉😉
Congratulations on the purchase. I never get tired of the color. I still get that enjoyment on those bright sunny days when the orange just 'pops'. Atomic was the perfect description of this orange.
