Exhaust Drone
My '13 GS came with SLP Loudmouth mufflers and some intolerable drone. Today, i took the car to Ernie at Crownd Muffler in Glendora, CA. He suggested two short J pipes with capped resonators attached. I didn't want to give up the great tone outside, so he suggested staying with Loudmouths. No room for long J pipes needed, or add resonators ahead of mufflers. This eliminated about 80% of the drone. Slight, deeper tone drone at 1700, but mostly gone.
Highly recommend Ernie and Jeff at Crownd. No pressure or upsell attempt, and I'd say he nailed my two year headaches.

Nice work, similar to the hooker blackheart exhuast. They also have a built in resonator. Thought about the slp and the hooker still haven’t decided.

You’re lucky to have find an open shop, I’m stuck with a new BB fusion that nobody can install due to that virus s—t I’ll try to do it by myself knowing It will be a PITA without a lift.

just had my stock NPP I’m and out 2 times last week. Put the fronts on a two 2x8s per side and jack the rear way up. Take the 2 bolts and 2 nuts off for the sway bar mounts to the cradle. The cat back actually comes out easy after you know how it needs to be manipulated.

If you don't have to make any cuts or run lines of some sort for baffles it's really a straight forward simple job. I've changed my systems 5 times over the years on jack stands.
