I've had the biggest dilemma trying to decide if I would want any spoiler I purchase to be CF (non body color of course) or body color. I've determined that black or CF spoilers look best when the roof and halo are also black or CF. Otherwise, I prefer body color. Hope this helps!

the black accents on my car stop at the line of the GS emblems, so everything above is body-color.

That second photo with the black spoiler and wheels looks great to me.

I would think with you wanting a full length spoiler you want it to stand out. If so leave it black.

Leaving the spoiler black makes it look like you started a project and never finished it... or even worse... started a project and can't afford to finish it.

Painted looks so much more professional and so much less ricer...

YMMV

I’d paint it. It’s why I buy black cars

Get it painted, looks lot better, when it matches the car!

I generally like black accents with yellow, but in this case I like it color matched. It's your car so you need to figure out what you like best. So far the responses look to be fairly evenly split, with maybe a few more voting color match.

22 painted vs 9 black

It looks like better then 2 to 1 for painted if I counted correctly, that's a pretty big difference, but it's a very small sampling.

Default Color or Not

Buy a carbon fiber one and that will end the debate.

I see a new full width color matched OEM spoiler in yellow for $180 on eBay.
