Congratulations! I have the same car. Got it seven years ago when I was only 70. You will enjoy it!

Landru, It's an auto with 38,180 miles. It's on a battery tender. Snowing right now. Sadly it will be months before I can drive it again.

I bought my first vette 18 months ago, the first performance car I ever owned. It's an '05 and it had 32k on it. I thought I would try and keep the miles low and sell it in two or three years.
Now I drive it all the time and will probably keep it forever. Love the car, Like the salesman said to me when I was about to drive away, "drive it like you stole It" Move south, I can drive my
car all year, I even drive it in the rain. (oh the horror)

Perfect C6, just broken-in.
As I said, a real find.

We're in the same boat, brother.
Corvette ownership north of Mason-Dixon in winter demands patience.
One thing's guaranteed w/ a tender hooked-up, it'll be ready.

Congratulations and enjoy it! I’m in your boat living in the NE (Boston) and took delivery of my C7 a week ago and it’s on the tender and waiting for spring. It was about 35 year between the first time I sat in one and when I brought one home. Nothing like living the dream! Have fun and be safe!
