Same here except about 90 in a 55. Passed a slowpoke on the left, never saw Mr. Bear sitting there until I swung back into the middle lane. Don't think he had his camera on or he would have got me good. Anyway, over we go, I'm respectful (and old, LOL) and show him a personalized get-outta-jail-for-free card. He looked a little pissed, gave me a stern warning and my card back. Whew!

Haven’t owned one in 10 years, but bought myself a good radar detector when I bought my car. Just reminds me to not do anything stupid when PoPo is nearby

I have one, but he didn't get me with radar. He saw me stop and then take off. I can't believe I didn't see them .He laughed because he told me he asked his partner what that vette was doing, then he says oh that is what he is doing. I always run the radar detector, waze and google. But in this small town waze and google are never any help.

Got a lot better as it warmed up, but still can not use all the power down low.
I hear you man lol, I can’t hook 2nd with 325/45/17 drag radials. That’s why my 60-130 run is 3rd gear only, for 2nd to hook I need one serious burn out and some warmer temps....I’m making a little more power then you but I feel your pain 🤜🏻....Corvette problems man

88 in a 65, was doing 95 minutes before I was pulled over. I'm 65 but due to my stellar driving record all I got was $240 fine and 0 points on my licence. I felt lucky.

If he had hit me with a radar today he would have gotten me for 73 in a 50. Or my radar detector would have went off and I would have let off.

Other than school zones and my neighborhood, it's not like I don't deserve it. Just not the right time or place I suppose.

Just remember to inform the officer that you are travelling, not driving, and the constitution guarantees your right to travel. I am led to understand the police like this sort of thing.

Let me know how that turns out.

Never been pulled over in either of my Vettes. Have learned where most of the cops like to catch people around here. I also don’t go more than 5 over the limit.

I have never gotten pulled over for less than 11 over. Even at 9 over, they just ignore me.

Got pulled twice, no ticket....
1st time a friend that I worked with needed a ride home.Sean asked if the car was Fast. I took a newly opened section of I-73 in Randelman, when I got to the top of the ramp I punched it somewhere around 100 when I hit the highway. Still holding when I hit the crest of the road I saw a little flicker of light and hit the brakes. There was a state trooper with his lights out on the left shoulder, he pulled me. He asked why I was going so fast, I told him the Truth, after he ran my license he lectured me and let me go.

2nd time I was playing with an Audi A8 on I-85. Audi saw the cop and I didn't, he pulled me and asked where I was going in such a hurry. I told him that I did not want to be late for work. He ran my license and told me to have a nice day, slow it down. I asked, no ticket? He replied "If I gave everybody I pulled for speeding a ticket I'd be writing all day". I shook his hand and said thank you officer.

When I picked up my new Vette, I went to Best Buy and bought a radars detector. No tickets in ten years of “spirited” driving.

Years ago our Corvette Club traveled to Dayton Ohio for a speed event. On the way back on I-75....I was last in the group and was pulled over by the State Trooper. Hell...we were going the speed limit...what was the deal ????
It turned out he had a 73 Vette he wanted to sell...and thought he would give us the information on the car .
All said and done...a Club member ended up purchasing his car.

Over Labor Day weekend was coming home from a Wyoming visit with my brother. It was early on Labor Day and I90/I94 are pretty lonely. It's a six hour drive, so I was "in a hurry". I was pulled over east of Billings on I90 at 95 (limit is 80 in MT). I had just crested a hill (for which I slowed down) and he was in a dark SUV coming the other direction. My radar detector went off and I hit the brakes, but too late. He was a young state trooper, very professional. I handed him my license and CC license. He gave me the $70 ticket. Oh yeah, he asked my if I owned the car, to which I answered, "yes". Not sure what that question was about. For some reason, I seldom get warnings. I drive over 25,000 miles a year for work in a Ford Edge and if I had to drive the speed limit I would be dead by now having fallen asleep at the wheel and crashed from boredom. I get a ticket every four or five years, but I have good radar detectors and I PAY ATTENTION when I drive. I'm always very polite and cooperative with the officers, but they like to write me up anyway. Must have quotas in ND as they aren't very busy fighting crime.
