For me the C6 body style is timeless it still looks modern and with a morimoto taillight upgrade and c7 front headlight upgrade this car is beautiful. I had a 16 Z06 /07 package carbon brakes and everything else carbon and got rid of it for a new CTSV because it was uncomfortable with the performance seats for me. The C7 ran beautifully compared to the C6 which of course it is old technology and raw no finesse as compared to the C7. As far as money value at this time the C6 is the way to go. That is a good video but that guy drives me nuts he is hyperness on steroids..lol
I, like most people with a clue, hate that little chode. Still, hes making a decent living off spewing his idiocy, so hes doing something right i guess, I think it's the clickbait titles.

I sort of think hes popular with the clueless 60+ crowd. People my pare ts age havent figured out people can say whatever they want on the internet and pretend it's TRUE, but be 100% made up. You wouldnt believe the stupid hippie medicine stuff my mom reads on facebook and thinks is real because they use made up stats and claim to be experts. She thi ls that rabies vaccines are a scam and that rabies was eradicated in the early 00s because a dog anti vaxxer said it somewhere.

I think he's right most of the time. Especially when he talks about Porsches, Audis, Beemers and Mercs. Sure, he exaggerates but overall his advice works for 90% of the people. And he's entertaining as hell.
I am an Accord owner myself. Picked up the C6 to replace my old Gen 4 Camaro as my daily driver for the same reasons that Kilmer mentions here.
I'd post this video on the C8 forum but those guys have no sense of humor and are wound pretty tight. I guess they are on pins and needles waiting for their new cars with no delivery date and worries the car will be a dud.

I don't think you saw the video. It really had nothing to do with the C8. It was about how good the C6 is as used car. Why do you think that he would've had an opportunity to drive a C8 since no one else has?

I get not liking the C8. I don't like it. It's not my kind of car, I like a bit more of an old school muscle car feel, and if I wanted a midengine car, I'd buy an r8 or gallardo. I also domt like how computerized new stuff is. But obviously, other people like other stuff.
Scotty's titles are always clickbait-ish. He must hire someone to edit and upload his videos with the laughing donkey and other funny pictures who knows what will get people to watch the video. Most of his videos are titled something like "Do this and your car will 100% explode" and its just a video about something mundane like topping off the gas when you fill up. Nevertheless, he is a straight shooter and calls things as he sees them, half for knowledge and the other half for entertainment.
He is also a body double for Hillary Clinton in his off time.
