I wave when I can. I live in Georgia so the windows are up with AC on. By the time I roll the window down the other vette is gone. I am not ignoring the wave I just don't see a lot of them in time. I hope I am forgiven!

Same here. Here in E.Tennessee the wave is still very much alive. At times I will meet several Vettes of all gens coming from car shows in Pigeon Forge/Sevierville. I can tell some are distracted (or concentrating on driving), but nearly all that aren't will wave. I've met and talked with many owners on the Foothills Parkway over Townsend or other areas locally, and am always amazed at the excitement over ownership. Will I wave to C8 owners? Of course.

Nothing makes me happier than to give or get a wave I had to explain it to the wife & now she loves it as well. Any year, make or model or color. Heck I even wave at the POS ones that I see. Its all about respecting the culture of the corvette.

I never even knew about the Corvette wave until I got my first Corvette last year. Very cool gesture, and it reminds me of my Jeep days! Jeep guys are wavers, too
And yes, I'll wave at the C8 for sure.

And so do bike riders! Harley guys wave to each other, and all the other normal riders on various imports wave to each other too, but, never shall the twain meet.

Most likely I will wave, but will probably be almost on top of it before I can distinguish it from a Euro ME. Getting old sucks.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the biker wave! I went through a sport bike phase, too. But I always loved a nice cruiser, as well. Around my parts, all bikers give the low wave, regardless of bike make or origin.

Each time I do encounter a Corvette it’s always an honor to wave regardless of what gen it is for me all Corvette were created equal, but i think the C8 will be a completely different animal and I am aware if the typical C8 owners will be a fanatic car quy or just someone with deep pockets who want to look cool.
